Even before the construction began, Danis understood the unique nature of our design and built a diverse, experienced team capable of managing the project and its inherent challenges. Throughout the construction process, the Danis team worked closely with UNF to monitor progress and proactively identify areas of concern, as well as potential solutions. Danis communicated effectively with all parties. I couldn’t be happier with the experience of working with Danis, or the final product.
The scope of this 2-story, 68,000 SF project involved demolition of most of the existing interior walls, removal of all the high-end Herman Miller work stations, and complete remodeling of the interior on both the first and second floors, north and south wings, and central entrance lobby/atrium space. This remodeling included new: gypsum wallboard on metal studs, millwork, doors, hardware, and aluminum storefront entry systems. It also included renovating and updating the mechanical system, installation of new through-wall drop boxes in the exterior walls, and the installation of new, and re-use of existing, lighting fixtures. New data and telephone conduits were also installed along with recessed floor power and data boxes into existing 6 inch deep access flooring.
